Health Services Consultants Training Center, a leading educator in nursing and healthcare based in Minnesota, is pleased to announce a CNA scholarship match to the recently launched myCNAjobs scholarship program.

The CNA scholarship is targeted for students currently pursuing a certified nursing assistant degree with plans to enroll within 60-days of the application deadline date. Distributed four times throughout the year, each scholarship award is $250 paid by myCNAjobs coupled with a match of $250 by select accredited CNA schools across the country.

The deadlines for applying for the program are as follows:

• January 2013 CNA Scholarship – submission due December 31
• March 2013 CNA Scholarship – submission due February 28
• June 2013 CNA Scholarship – submission due May 31
• October 2013 CNA Scholarship – submission due September 30

“For students in the greater Minneapolis area planning to attend our training center, we’ll double the scholarship award, totaling a contribution of $500,” says Patience Kankeh, Director of HSCTC. “We’re happy to extend this program to our local community and partner with myCNAjobs in providing an education to upcoming nursing professionals,” Kankeh adds.

To apply, students must plan on enrolling at a CNA program within 60 days of the submission due date and submit a short essay outlining motivations for entering and growing in the nursing profession.
