myCNAjobs announces a new partnership with Avid CNA School, based in Streamwood Illinois, via the myCNAjobs scholarship fund. Through the scholarship program, myCNAjobs will award multiple scholarships for local residents to attend Avid's program for certified nursing assistants over the next two months.
Residents can apply for the scholarship on myCNAjobs.com. The scholarship application takes approximately five minutes to complete.
“We're pleased to join myCNAjobs on their mission to give back to our local community and help folks connect to healthcare jobs in the area,” comments Fatima Reyes, CNA Program Director of Avid CNA School. “Our community is struggling to recruit enough qualified Aides and this is a powerful initiative to bring more awareness to the caregiving profession,” adds Reyes.
Avid offers multiple class scheduling options and the CNA program takes 4-6 weeks to complete. "After graduation, we will work closely with the team at myCNAjobs to help our students connect to local CNA jobs in home care, assisted living, and nursing homes," adds Reyes.
