The report comes at a time when homecare agencies, assisted living communities and nursing homes are under increased pressure to retain their talent and often can’t hire qualified talent quickly enough to meet business demands.
The 16-page report, available for download, outlines key caregiver motivators to attract and retain top talent while providing insight into the most common challenges faced by hiring managers across the country.
“Our latest report uncovered a few fascinating insights that can most certainly lead to a competitive advantage in an increasingly competitive marketplace,” says Chief Marketing Officer, Brandi Kurtyka.
A few insights from the report include:
- 20% of professional caregivers receive 1-2 calls for work each week, regardless of employment status (competitors are actively trying to poach employees to fill their own pipeline)
- 10% of the workforce would leave a job for a $.25 or less increase in pay
- Commute to work is the single most important factor in deciding if a caregiver will accept an interview and position (a factor left out of most interview requests)
