After much thought and consideration, myCNAjobs selected Elizabeth Terry for her touching story, optimism, and natural compassion for caring for others. With plans on attending either MidMichigan Community College or TRIDGE Training Institute in Midland Michigan this month, Terry has a bright caregiving career ahead of her.
"myCNAjobs is committed to investing in up-and-coming caregivers to serve the needs of our aging population," says Brandi Kurtyka, Chief Marketing Officer of myCNAjobs. "It's a small token of appreciation - being a caregiving is hard work and we're grateful for each and every caregiver in our community."
After Terry graduates, she will be connected to a local CNA job through the myCNAjobs community.
Applications are now open for the next CNA scholarship with submissions due by October 30, 2013. Entrants must plan to enroll in an accredited caregiver training program within 60 days of the award date and can apply by submitting a short essay application outlining motivations for becoming a caregiver. It's free to apply for the scholarship and for all job on the myCNAjobs website.
