ASPGM LLC / ALL Love Home is a licensed adult foster care provider serving adults with mental health and cognitive needs in a structured 24/7 residential behavioral health setting.
The Midnight Documentation & Safety Specialist role is a compliance-critical position responsible for overnight supervision, documentation accuracy, safety monitoring, and elopement prevention.
This is a zero-error tolerance shift.
The overnight staff member is the sole awake professional responsible for maintaining structure, vigilance, and licensing compliance while supervisory leadership is off-site or asleep.
Core Responsibilities
• Continuous overnight supervision of all residents
• Active monitoring of 1:1 residents at all times
• Immediate response to any movement, distress, or behavioral change
• Accurate and complete overnight documentation
• Medication administration (if scheduled)
• Routine safety checks throughout the home
• Elopement prevention and monitoring
• Maintaining a fully structured, inspection-ready environment
• Ensuring the home operates as if active supervision is present
Vigilance & Conduct Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
This is an AWAKE shift. The following are strictly prohibited:
• Sleeping
• Laying down
• Wearing house shoes or slippers
• Wearing robes
• Covering up with blankets
• Bringing in personal heaters or outside heating devices
• Creating a “sleep environment” for yourself
Staff must remain dressed professionally and alert at all times.
Staff must maintain visual and situational awareness of all residents, including those who are sleeping.
You must always know:
• Where each resident is located
• Their sleep status
• Their behavioral baseline
• Any change in condition
Even during quiet hours, vigilance is mandatory.
1:1 Monitoring Standard
If assigned to a 1:1 resident:
• You must maintain active supervision
• You must be able to immediately account for the resident’s location
• You must monitor for elopement risk
• You must document behavioral or safety changes
Failure to maintain active supervision places residents and licensing compliance at risk.
Professional Expectations
• Remain on shift until properly relieved
• Immediate reporting of incidents or safety concerns
• Zero tolerance for falsified documentation
• Limited personal phone use
• Strict adherence to licensing policies
This role protects the license and the safety of vulnerable adults.
Pre-Employment Requirements
• 18+ years old
• Valid Michigan driver’s license
• Pass background check
• Fingerprints submitted
• TB screening
• Health clearance / physical
• CPR / First Aid certification
Candidates who are fully compliance-ready at time of hire may qualify for premium pay.
