Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterans with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Support veterans with ambulation, transfers, and proper use of assistive devices
• Provide comfort, companionship, and emotional support in a trauma-informed and respectful manner
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified care environment
• Follow infection control, safety, and privacy standards (HIPAA compliant)
• Respect and support veterans from diverse backgrounds and service eras
