Most shifts take place at our Discovery Senior Living communities in Tampa and Sun City Center, Florida. 

The caregiver's role includes providing hands on care, physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home like environment.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s apartment/home
Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Qualifications - Florida requirements MUST have the following:

• HHA certificate AND/ OR  a CNA (Certified Nurse’s Aide) certification
• CPR (BSL) certification - American Red Cross or American Heart Associate in CPR BLS (Basic Life Support) and must be hands on training (Online NOT accepted per regulation guidelines)
• PPD (TB) test results in the last year or a copy of chest X-ray results
• Elder Affairs Florida, ADRD one-hour Training Certification – May watch the video while doing the interview process
• Valid Driver License
• Auto Insurance
• Must be 18 years of age
